Mean Curry

as all of us hermonites know, how much did it mean to be in the senior school.no more constant bragging from the matrons, not having said the night prayers, not having to go to bed at 7 pm.
when i was in class 3 i used to look at the senoirs in the evening, how much fun they were having.some guys busy teasing the girls, some minding their own business and walking, some couples just standing in the moonlight facing the mountains(at present there is a big wall, which obstructs the veiw, and which needs to be demolished).i raelly used to feel jealous, not getting that kind of oppurtinity.and i used to watch from the class three dorm,in a very sad mood.when the matrons used to come i used to hide uder the blanket pretending to sleep(thank god i didn't get caught).slowly the time passed and moved to steward building.
after 3 years the time finally arrived.the time to move up the step."yess we are in the senior school." everybody was happy.and that too in a year when the school was celebrating 100th birthday.this became even more interesting.i still remember the day when we moved down to the round building.that year the school had started early,so we had to stay in steward building for a few days.
all of us packed our things, dumped them in the school jeep, which was
supposed to transport our belongings, and we headed down.now all of us found ourselves in a new atmosphere.very different from the junoir
school.the first problem we faced was finding the stairway.it was very confusing in the beginning, but got used to it very fast.
walking down from the school was fun at night.when some of the guys hid behind the bushes and scared the people passing by.
the worst time was when the broke stage arrived, when all the guys were without any money.when one packed of biscuit seemed to be a pot of gold.and all the guys were dying to get whatever they could find.
we really used to enjoy the town outings.going to good restaurant, hanging around the mall, were the things we did.
when we got permission to watch the football matches in north point ground, half of the the boys would be in willes and n-corner enjoying themselves.somtimes going down the tea gardens was just amazing.lying in a lush green grass, without any noise, was fun.
