Those were the days I can recall every little incident that happened at MHS as if it were yesterday. Would any of you beleive that it is by chance that I stumbled across this website and all atonce old memories came flooding back. I graduated in 1971 and I am happy to see that Robin Sengupta, who was my friend and classmate managed to return to school to teach just after graduation. I like his note on Ms Hawke. It brought back memories. Karl Hagen returned, but what of his brother Kenny, who was my class mate. The last I remember him was from the US where he was at an Oceanography institute in Hawaii. I spoke to him several times there. I read the note by Mr. Murray. Mrs Murray's name brought back memories of the highly successful opera Oliver Twist of which I was a part. What news of Roslyn Rongong. I remember she married Sherab Bhutia and spent some years in Australia,but did she return to teach at MH. Sinee Hung of the famous New Dish restaurant also a class mate. I beleive she teaches at MH now. New Dish was the ultimate student destination for good chinese food. Does anyone remember the Unknown restaurant the small room below Keventer's where the fried rice was heavenly. I still cannot imagine that I have not visited Darjeeling in 35 years after graduating in 1971. I must rectify this quickly.
